Dr. Philip J. Tighe
Dr. Philip J. Tighe is a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania and is proud to be a descendant of ancestors living in the Lehigh Valley for over five generations. He is a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Muhlenberg College, Temple University School of Dentistry and Georgetown University Graduate School of Orthodontics.
He served three years in the service as a dentist during the Vietnam War and achieved the rank of Lt. Commander. He worked two years at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland as a dental research associate.
Dr. Tighe is a board-certified orthodontist who has been in the private practice of orthodontics in Allentown for over 30 years. He is past president of the Lehigh County Dental Society and past president of the Lehigh Valley Orthodontic Society. He is a member of the Alumni Board of Temple University School of Dentistry and was recently honored by the Dean as the "Distinguished Alumni."
When not providing orthodontic care, Dr. Tighe enjoys biking, golf, gardening and wood working.
His wife, Cathy, also works part-time in the office and helps with bookkeeping and payroll. They have been married for 40 years and are the proud parents of two grown sons.

Dr. Philip L. Tighe
Dr. Philip L. Tighe is a graduate of Central Catholic High School, the University of Richmond, Temple University School of Dentistry and New York University Graduate School of Orthodontics. Prior to studying orthodontics, he completed two years of general practice residency. The first year was at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and the second year at York General Hospital.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He is a Diplomate of the America Board of Orthodontics and serves as the Division Chief of Orthodontics at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was a director of the Lehigh Valley Dental Association and is Second District Representative to the Pennsylvania Dental Association-New Dentist Committee.
His interests include golfing, skiing, biking and spending time with his wife Jenha. She is a surgical nurse in Allentown. They recently completed their first triathlon together.

Dr. Robert W. Tighe
Dr. Robert W. Tighe is a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Villanova University-Temple University School of Dentistry and Temple University Graduate School of Orthodontics. Prior to studying orthodontics, he completed a one-year general practice residency at the Veteran’s Hospital located in Manhattan, New York City. While studying orthodontics at Temple, he received a master’s degree for his research concerning the role of cclusion and tooth alignment on facial aesthetics.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
He is a golfer, skier and avid sports fan who "roots" for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers.
